Dr. Steve Bennison received a B.Sc. (Hons) from the University of Leeds (UK) and then an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Lehigh University (Bethlehem, PA USA). Upon graduation he took a position as Guest Scientist at The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST Gaithersburg, MD USA). In 1992 he joined E.I. DuPont de Nemours & Co. Inc. (Wilmington, DE USA). With the sale of DuPont’s Glass Laminated Solutions business unit to Kuraray in 2014, he transferred to Kuraray America where he leads research programs related to the development and application of polymer interlayers for laminated glass.
