Biography
Dr. Norville received his BSCE from the University of Toledo in 1974, his MSCE from Purdue University in 1976, and his Ph.D. from Purdue University in 1981. He joined the Civil Engineering Department at Texas Tech in 1981 and became active in research concerning glass strength and behavior. He serves as the co-chair of the committee that maintains ASTM E 1300 and has been active in advancing ASTM standards relating to blast-resistant and impact resistant glazing.
