Dr. Karl Stefan Dewald

Karl Stefan Dewald holds a doctoral degree in structural engineering and further accomplishments in Management and Business Administration at Vlerick Business School.

With more than 20 years of experience in Building Engineering and construction martials industry, Karl Stefan is an experienced Head of Business Management with a demonstrated history of working in large global corporations in international leading roles.

After starting his career as division manager with a globally operating building material company, he was assigned to grow the US-American business activities of the Fire-Protection and Industrial Insulation business of the group through local business development and M&A activities.

Within DOW CORNING and post merger DOW Chemicals he held the global responsibility for the Façade Engineering and Architectural Design and grew a dense network into the global building envelope industry.

Since beginning of 2018 Stefan is Head of Business Unit Façade at SCHÜCO International KG and responsible for the global façade strategy, product management and product development façade.
