Biography

As an architectural intern at SAHAGUN SILES PARTNERS, I develop design solutions for single-family residential models, prepare comprehensive drawings for authority approval and construction, and produce coordination drawings and visualizations. I work with a team of experienced architects and engineers and learn from their feedback and guidance. I am also proficient in various CAD and BIM applications and have used them to create over 15 schematic design and concept models for different building types and functions.

I am pursuing a Master of Architecture degree at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where I explore advanced topics in building sciences and technology, such as the shape of stress, graphical statics, finite element analysis, and optimization. I have also mentored freshman students in the Introduction to Architecture course and assisted a professor in teaching a course on topics in advanced technology. One of my proudest achievements is collaborating with a team of 15 to design and build a UIA award-winning urban playscape for the children of Dhaka, Bangladesh, using bamboo as a sustainable and inclusive material. My goal is to become a licensed architect in the US and contribute to creating innovative and resilient spaces that enhance the quality of life for people and communities.
