Karen Brandt, AIA, leads the Heintges West Coast office in San Francisco and joined the firm in New York in 2001. Ms. Brandt has particular expertise in the facade design and engineering of buildings for visionary organizations and Architects requiring architectural excellence, technical innovation, comprehensive approaches to sustainability, and enhanced resilience. Notable projects include headquarters for Uber, LinkedIn, and Adobe in the Bay Area, MIRA SF tower, the new Whitney Museum of American Art at Gansevoort, and historic renovation of the General Assembly Hall at the United Nations Headquarters. Ms. Brandt holds degrees in architecture from the College of Environmental Design at the University of California, Berkeley and the Harvard Graduate School of Design.
