Biography

With over 32 years of experience, Gail is a licensed architect who is passionate about optimizing the performance of buildings today to help create resilience for tomorrow. Her experience in managing the sustainability goals of multiple, complex projects simultaneously, spans across a broad spectrum of project types ranging in scale, industry, and scope of work. As a global Design Resilience Leader, Gail develops strategies, creates guidelines, and manages institutional certifications including LEED, WELL, Fitwel, and more. She serves as the 2020 Chair for the AIA National Resilience & Adaptation Advisory Group and is an active member of AIA San Francisco’s Committee on the Environment, as well as a co-founder of Gensler’s Inclusive Design Network.
