Daniel Kelso

Former Design Modeler of Enclos, Advanced Technology Studio

Biography

I received a bachelor of environmental design with a specialization in architecture and a certificate in lighting design from the University of Colorado, Boulder. I then spent two years at the Advanced Technology Studio of Enclos Corp. wherein the majority of my responsibilities were specialty facade and curtain wall design, complex 3D and 2D computer-aided design modeling, custom quantity takeoffs, computational geometry rationalization, fabrication drawings, 3D print system prototyping, and bid proposal booklet graphics. I developed an acute understanding of building skin technology, and of the construction process from early design through fabrication all the way to field installation.

It was at Enclos where I carried out the bulk of my curtain wall research.
