Associate Director, Virtual Construction Lab at Schüco USA

Biography

Aude Webanck is the Associate Director of the Virtual Construction Lab of Schüco (VCL), a multi-disciplinary, forward thinking group striving to provide the window and facade industry with innovative solutions in various fields. Aude Webanck completed her studies in France where she obtained two master's degrees, one in Architecture from Ecole Nationale Superieure d'Architecture de Lyon and one in engineering, from Ecole Centrale Lyon, with a specialization in sustainable buildings. She started her career in Paris, working for Setec Organisation as a consultant in project management on projects such as Jean Nouvel's Philharmonie de Paris. She then moved to the US to work as a project controls manager for Enclos on major east coast projects such as 53 W 53rd Street in New York. This experience and her dual background provided her with the right skill set to take over the management of VCL in early 2019. She now oversees a team of designers, engineers, CG artists and software developers exploring various topics including, but not limited to, building physics, product development, and digital solutions.
