Biography

Postdoctoral Researcher at Western University (Canada), conducts multidisciplinary research in the wind engineering and building technology fields, related to façade design. Angela Mejorin is a designated expert for ISO, ASTM, CEN, and UNI standards development Committees, for Windows, Doors and Curtain Wall. She obtained a dual Ph.D. from Western University and Iuav University (Italy) in 2022. She has been involved in research activities related to façades since 2017, when she joined the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. Between 2017 and 2023 she has been working as a teaching assistant at the Iuav University and the Western University. Her background is in engineering, with a second-level specialized master’s degree in “Design and Construction of Tall Buildings” (Politecnico, Turin). She is an accredited Professional Engineer and has experience working in the construction industry. Between 2013 and 2017, she worked as the Project Controller for the realization of the Intesa Sanpaolo skyscraper (Turin, Italy), the Alfa Romeo Museum and Headquarters in Arese (Milan, Italy) and for other projects in the Milan's Fashion District and Porta Nuova Garibaldi areas.
