Self-Guided Post-Conference Trip to Arches National Park

Utah is the home of several national parks, including Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, Arches, and Canyonlands. While you are in Salt Lake City for the World Congress, consider extending your trip to visit one of these amazing natural sites. We would suggest a visit to Arches National Park since it is the closest to Salt Lake City and reachable by car, bus, train, and even air. How to Get There

If you have or rent a car, the drive from Salt Lake City takes approximately 4 hours (234 miles). Here are the directions:

Take I-15 South for 50 miles. Then US-6 East toward Price. Remain on US-6 East for nearly 130 miles. Merge onto I-70 East/US-191 South. This route will carry you the final 24 miles into Moab.

SL Express

This is a shuttle service that runs a route to Moab twice a day. Jump on the bus in downtown Salt Lake City and 5 hours later you are in Moab. You can either rent a car in Moab or sign up for a tour of Arches where you will be picked up from your hotel.
