Explore the top papers from the 2020 World Congress

Each week leading up to the 2020 World Congress, we will announce one of the four winning authors, selected from the 118 papers to be presented at the virtual event, and releasing an interview with them on our SKINS Podcast.

• Episode 05 Published July 16, 2020 Eric Haas, FAIA, LEED AP BD+C, Principal at DSH // Architecture, who will be speaking about his paper, "Put Your Sweater On! A Case for Low Performance."
• Episode 06 Published July 23, 2020 Rebecca Hartwell, PhD Candidate at the University of Cambridge, on her winning paper, "End-of-Life Challenges in Facade Design: A disassembly framework for assessing the environmental reclamation potential of facade systems."
• Episode 07 Published July 29, 2020 Roman Schieber, Associate Director ppa. at Knippers Helbig GmbH, who will be speaking about his winning paper, "The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, LA: Design & Engineering of the Iconic Spherical Shell."

The World Congress, hosted virtually this August, will feature presentations of 118 papers, which were subjected to a blind peer review process by the Scientific, Artistic & Technical Review Committee comprised of 200 industry professionals and academics. The top papers were then selected by committee chairs, Doug Noble and Karen Kensek.
